Tone Hulbækmo and Hans Fredrik Jacobsen are famous musicians in Norway, both as individual artists and as members of the medieval group Kalenda Maya. They have released a string of CDʼs, 3 of them winning Spellemannprisen, the norwegian Grammy. They have a huge repertoire of folk music from different parts of Norway, especially Østerdalen, the eastern most valley in Norway, where they live today. That means sad love songs, beautiful religious hymns, poetic lullabies, lively wedding marches and powerful medieval ballads. They have worked a lot with medieval music from Spain, France and Germany, and cooperated with musicians from other parts of the world in several multicultural projects. The musicians also compose their own music, and create musical arrangements around their more traditional music, and are equally familiar with playing in the church as in both small and bigger concert halls, as on the pub! They have given concerts in all the major cultural events and scenes in Norway during their 30 year long career, and been touring in countries like USA, China, Vietnam, South Korea, Brasil, India, Spain, France, Germany, Estonia, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Zambia and more. Tone and Hans Fredrik are both multiinstrumentalists and bring with them a lot of exiting instruments, some of them very rear, like the Norwegian harp. Tone gave this, in Norway long forgotten instrument a new life when she played it on her first cd in 1983. In concert the duo give you different combinations of their instruments and musical repertoire. They are known for having a relaxed style on stage, presenting both the music and the instruments they are playing in a very informing, yet humurous style.

From Ireland
- Clare Horgan
Clare is oiginally from Waterville, on the breathtakingly beautiful Ring of Kerry. She grew up in a bilingual community on the edge of the Irish Speaking (Gaeltacht) area of Ballinskelligs. In live performance, Clare has the ability to stop an audience in their tracks, taking them on an unforgettable journey across a series of landscapes, emotional and musical. In one song, Clare will draw you into the mystical world of pre-Christian Ireland and in the next song, you will find yourself tapping your feet in a dimly-lit jazz club in 1940s New York. She is an excellent guitar and flute player.
